To achieve these aims, Emerson provides easy-to-use products and software, along with consultation and project management services, to improve performance and quality for all of their clients, in addition to supporting clients in their efforts to move away from carbon.

Arc Business Interiors already has a successful working relationship with Emerson Process Management, having completed projects for them in the past, and we’re delighted to be back to lead a brand new project at their site in Cumbernauld, Scotland. Thanks to our bespoke concept-to-completion service, we were able to bring Emerson’s vision to life – and here’s how.

Our brief
The team at Emerson asked us to create a customer experience space to showcase their varied products and gas analysis technologies, which are all designed to bring smart solutions to their gas analysis solutions centre.

The space also needed to be flexible and easy to adapt for new product development, incorporating an engaging product display space, and a functional demonstration area where seminars and talks could be held. The team also requested a presentation space with seating that could be easily adapted for informal meetings.

To achieve these aims, we laid out a plan that included eye-catching aesthetics, design features and furniture, which all provided optimal functionality, flexibility and comfort. We also worked closely within their brand guidelines to create opportunities for graphic and branding walls to ensure the space had plenty of personality and professionalism to inspire visitors and staff alike.

What we did
Our comprehensive service included new partition walls, feature lighting, flooring, painting, signage, joinery and feature wall finishes. All of these elements were designed to work in synergy with one another, creating a cohesive space that told a clear story.

The fresh new space focused on the client’s gas analysis strategy principles, which are the three pillars of their business: sustainability, process, hybrid & discrete. We communicated this message with a display wall for each business pillar, which included striking lighted signage, dynamic graphics, and product displays to engage clients.

The project statistics
Led by Arc Project Designer, Kath Hindsley, the job took three weeks to complete and was worth £100,000. The final space covered was 1400 sq ft and had seating for 22 people.

The handover
The final result was an inviting and visually impressive client experience area that embodied the brand, engaged with clients and accommodated Emerson’s requirements.

The Project team at Emerson were very pleased with the final result, saying: thanks for all your efforts and support over the past few weeks in getting the space updated on time. It was a pleasure working with you all and the space looks great. We’ve had lots of positive comments from staff and visitors. Our tour is this afternoon and I’m sure the space will be well received.
