Arc Managing Director shows his support for the charity PAPYRUS
This August, our MD Shaun Toomey shall be taking part in a 15,000ft Tandem Skydive to support the charity PAPYRUS in commemoration of his big brother Mark who committed suicide in 2009.
Now for those of you who don’t know PAPYRUS are a UK Charity who work tirelessly to shatter the stigma around suicide and mental health within young people.
Suicide is the biggest killer of young people – male and female – between the ages of 20-49 in the UK. Every year many thousands more attempt or contemplate suicide, harm themselves or suffer alone, afraid to speak openly about how they are feeling.
So many of us, or someone close to us have been affected in some way by mental health. So, let’s help Shaun his mission to break the taboo around mental health & suicide and raise money for this amazing cause which is very close to his heart.
We are asking you to donate whatever you can, a donation whether big or small might just mean that the phone is answered when someone needs to reach out.
Please visit his fundraising page https://lnkd.in/ds_ntQ5 to donate and read more about his story.
No person should have to suffer alone with thoughts or feelings of hopelessness and nobody should have to go through the heartbreak of losing someone to suicide.
